Remove the core of the cabbage and separate the leaves. Place them in a microwave-safe container, sprinkle with 1 tbsp water, cover loosely with plastic wrap, and microwave at 600W for 3 minutes. Chop the consomme cube finely.

In a bowl, mix ground meat with egg, breadcrumbs, salt, and pepper until sticky to form the meat mixture.

Layer 1/3 of the cabbage in a pot, spread half of the meat mixture on top, then repeat with another 1/3 of the cabbage and the remaining meat mixture. Finish with the remaining cabbage. Add consomme, water, and tomato sauce. Cover and simmer on low heat for 25–30 minutes, occasionally spooning the broth over the layers.

Cut into serving portions, plate, and sprinkle with grated cheese and parsley.
