INGREDIENTS
Cake
- 2 cups cake flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- π§ Β½ teaspoon salt
- 1 β cups white sugar
- π§ Β½ cup unsalted butter, softened
- π₯ 2 large eggs, at room temperature
- 1 cup yogurt
- π 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
- π 1 tablespoon lemon zest
Glaze
- 3 cups powdered sugar
- π ΒΌ cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
- π 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
STEPS
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 10x15-inch baking pan.
Combine cake flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt together in a large bowl.
Beat sugar and butter together until well incorporated. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Add yogurt, lemon juice, and lemon zest. Add cake flour mixture and mix until incorporated. Pour batter into prepared pan.
Bake for 20 to 25 minutes until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Let the cake cool completely on a wire rack.
To prepare the glaze: mix powdered sugar and lemon juice until smooth. Pour glaze over cooled cake.
