INGREDIENTS
Meat
- š„© 300g thinly sliced beef
Vegetables
- š„¬ 4 lettuce leaves
- 5 shiso leaves
Staples
- š¾ sufficient amount of all-purpose flour
Condiments
- 1 tsp salad oil
- š§ 10g salted butter
- 2 tbsp ponzu soy sauce
STEPS
Lay a sheet of plastic wrap and spread thinly sliced beef slightly overlapping to form a single layer. Sprinkle flour, place shiso leaves and lettuce, and roll tightly to bind the ingredients.
Heat a frying pan over medium heat with salad oil. Place the beef roll seam-side down and cook for about 1 minute.
Roll the beef roll around to cook evenly. Remove from the pan and cut into bite-sized pieces.
In the same pan, add butter and heat over medium-low until melted. Add ponzu soy sauce and mix to create a butter ponzu sauce. Serve the beef rolls on a plate and drizzle with the sauce.
