INGREDIENTS
Vegetable
- 250g daikon, peeled and sliced
- đź§„ 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 piece ginger, minced
- đź§… 5cm white part of green onion, minced
Meat
- 150g ground pork
Condiments
- 1/2 tsp doubanjiang
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
Seasoning
- 1 tbsp sake
- 🍬 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp chicken stock powder
- đź’§ 150ml water
Thickener
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- đź’§ 1 tbsp water
STEPS
Peel and slice the daikon into 1.5cm thick pieces. Mince garlic, ginger, and green onion.
Heat sesame oil in a pan over low heat. Add garlic and ginger, sauté until fragrant.
Add ground pork to the pan and cook over medium heat, breaking it apart as it cooks.
Add daikon slices and doubanjiang to the pan. Stir well to coat the daikon evenly.
Pour in the seasoning mixture (sake, sugar, soy sauce, chicken stock powder, and water). Bring to a boil, then reduce to low heat and simmer for 6 minutes.
Add the cornstarch slurry (cornstarch mixed with water) to the pan. Stir quickly until the sauce thickens.
Transfer to a serving dish and garnish with minced green onion.
