INGREDIENTS
Meat
- 80g ground pork
Vegetables
- 100g daikon greens
Tofu
- 1/2 block silken tofu
Seasonings
- 1/2 tsp grated ginger
- 1/2 tsp grated garlic
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp sake
- 🍬 1 tsp sugar
- đź§‚ 1/3 tsp salt
- 1 tsp chicken broth powder
- đź’§ 200ml water
Thickener
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- đź’§ 1 tbsp water
Finish
- Sesame oil as needed
- Chili oil as needed
STEPS
Cut daikon greens into 1cm pieces and dice silken tofu into 1.5cm cubes.
Heat sesame oil in a frying pan, add ground pork, grated ginger, and grated garlic, and stir-fry over medium heat until the pork changes color.
Add the seasoning mixture (sake, sugar, salt, chicken broth powder, and water) and bring to a boil. Skim off any foam, cover, and simmer over medium-low heat for 5 minutes.
Add daikon greens and stir until softened. Then, add tofu and cook for 3 minutes over medium heat. Stir in cornstarch slurry and simmer until thickened.
Plate the dish and drizzle with sesame oil and chili oil for finishing.
