INGREDIENTS
Main Ingredients
- 140g konnyaku, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 100g ground pork
- 🍄 2 shiitake mushrooms, chopped
- đź§… 10cm green onion, chopped
- đź§„ 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 piece ginger, minced
Seasonings
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp miso
- 1 tsp doubanjiang
- 1/2 tsp chicken stock powder
- đź’§ 200ml water
Thickening Agent
- 1 tbsp potato starch
- đź’§ 1 tbsp water
Garnish
- đź§… Chopped green onion, to taste
STEPS
Cut konnyaku into bite-sized pieces. Boil in water for 2 minutes, then drain.
Chop green onion, shiitake mushrooms, garlic, and ginger into small pieces.
Heat sesame oil in a pan. Add ground pork, garlic, and ginger. Stir-fry over medium heat until pork is cooked.
Add green onion, shiitake mushrooms, and seasonings (sugar, soy sauce, miso, doubanjiang, chicken stock powder, and water). Mix well. Add konnyaku, cover, and simmer on low heat for 5 minutes.
Mix potato starch with water to create a slurry. Add to the pan to thicken the sauce. Serve and garnish with chopped green onion.
