INGREDIENTS
Rice
- 🍚 2 bowls of cooked rice (400g)
Seafood
- 1 piece of mentaiko (50g)
Condiments
- đź§´ 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise
Cheese / Dairy
- đź§€ 2 pieces of baby cheese (30g)
Herbs
- Shredded shiso leaves, as needed
STEPS
Place the mentaiko in a bowl and use a spoon to extract the contents. Add mayonnaise and mix to create mentaiko sauce.
In another bowl, add cooked rice and tear baby cheese into small pieces while mixing. Divide into 4 portions and wrap each in plastic wrap to form round onigiri.
Line a toaster tray with aluminum foil and place the onigiri on it. Evenly distribute the mentaiko sauce on top and toast until golden brown.
Serve on a plate and garnish with shredded shiso leaves.
