INGREDIENTS
Eggs
- 🥚 2 eggs
Seafood
- 1 stick mentaiko (50g)
Seasoning
- đź§‚ 1/2 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp potato starch
Herbs
- 2 shiso leaves
STEPS
Cut open the mentaiko and extract the roe. Thinly slice the shiso leaves.
In a bowl, beat the eggs and mix in sugar, potato starch, and shiso leaves.
Line a 14cm square microwave-safe container with plastic wrap. Pour the egg mixture into the container and microwave at 600W for 40 seconds.
Place the mentaiko on the cooked egg mixture, roll it into a cylindrical shape, and microwave again at 600W for another 40 seconds.
Wrap the roll tightly with plastic wrap while hot, let it cool slightly, and slice into bite-sized pieces.
