INGREDIENTS
Seafood
- 🦐 12 shrimp, peeled and deveined
Seasoning
- 2 tsp cornstarch
- 1 tsp cooking wine
- 1 tsp salad oil
- 🧂 Pinch of salt and pepper
Vegetables
- 🧅 1/3 stalk minced green onion
- 🧄 1 clove minced garlic
- 1 piece minced ginger
Sauces
- 🍬 1/2 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- 🍅 2 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tsp oyster sauce
- Pinch of doubanjiang (adjust spiciness to taste)
- 💧 1 tbsp water
STEPS
Peel and devein the shrimp. Rub with salt, pepper, cooking wine, salad oil, and cornstarch.
In a microwave-safe container, mix sugar, soy sauce, ketchup, oyster sauce, doubanjiang, and water. Add shrimp, green onion, ginger, and garlic, and mix well.
Spread the shrimp evenly in the container, cover loosely with plastic wrap, and microwave at 500W for 4 minutes. Stir lightly and serve.
