INGREDIENTS
Meat
- 150g sliced pork
Vegetables
- 🥔 2 medium potatoes
- 🥕 1/2 carrot
- đź§… 1/2 onion
Cooking Oil
- 1 tsp salad oil
Seasoning
- 2 tbsp miso
- 1 tsp white sesame seeds
Broth
- 1 tbsp sake
- 1 tbsp mirin
- 🍬 1 tbsp sugar
- đź’§ 100cc water
- 1 tsp Japanese dashi powder
STEPS
Cut the potatoes into bite-sized pieces and soak them in water for 5 minutes. Drain the water.
Cut the carrot and onion into bite-sized pieces.
Heat salad oil in a pot over medium heat. Add sliced pork and stir-fry until the color changes. Then add the vegetables and coat them with oil.
Add the broth ingredients (sake, mirin, sugar, water, dashi powder) and mix well. Bring to a boil, then cover and simmer over low heat for 10 minutes until the carrot is tender.
Add miso and dissolve it into the broth. Simmer for another 5 minutes. Serve in a bowl and sprinkle with sesame seeds as desired.
