INGREDIENTS
Potato
- 🥔 2 medium potatoes (400g)
Batter
- 50g all-purpose flour
- 30g potato starch
- đź’§ 100ml water
Cooking Oil
- Enough vegetable oil for frying
Miso Sauce
- 1 tbsp sake
- 1 tbsp mirin
- 🍬 2 tbsp sugar
- 3 tbsp miso paste
STEPS
Peel and cut the potatoes into bite-sized pieces. Soak them in water, drain, and microwave for 5 minutes at 600W. Pat dry with paper towels.
Mix flour, potato starch, and water in a bowl to create a batter. Coat the potatoes evenly.
Heat vegetable oil to 180°C in a pot. Fry the coated potatoes for 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
Combine sake, mirin, sugar, and miso paste in a microwave-safe container. Microwave for 1 minute at 600W and mix well to create the miso sauce.
Serve the fried potatoes on a plate and drizzle with the miso sauce.
