INGREDIENTS
Bread
- 🍞 4 slices sandwich bread
Vegetables
- 1 bunch mitsuba
- 🥒 1/2 cucumber, thinly sliced
- 🧅 1/4 onion, thinly sliced
Condiments
- 🧈 10g salted butter
- 🧂 1 tsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp mayonnaise
Protein
- 🐟 1 can tuna
STEPS
Cut mitsuba into 2cm pieces. Thinly slice cucumber and onion.
Place mitsuba, cucumber, and onion in a bowl. Sprinkle with a pinch of salt and massage gently. Let sit for 3 minutes, then squeeze out excess water.
Add soy sauce, mayonnaise, and tuna to the bowl. Mix well.
Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread. Divide the filling evenly onto two slices and cover with the remaining slices.
Let the sandwiches sit for 5 minutes to allow the flavors to meld. Cut into desired sizes and serve.
