INGREDIENTS
Grains
- 🍚 2 cups washed rice
Seafood
- 🐟 30g dried baby sardines
Vegetables
- 3 thinly sliced myoga
- 10 shredded shiso leaves
Condiments
- 🌰 1 tbsp toasted white sesame seeds
- 1/2 tbsp concentrated mentsuyu
STEPS
Add the washed rice to the rice cooker, pour water up to the 2-cup mark, and cook as usual.
Slice the myoga into thin rings and soak in water to remove bitterness. Drain well. Shred the shiso leaves finely.
In a bowl, mix the sliced myoga, dried baby sardines, and concentrated mentsuyu.
Once the rice is cooked, add the mixture from step 3 to the rice and mix lightly. Cover and let it steam for 10 minutes. Add the shredded shiso and sesame seeds, then mix again.
