INGREDIENTS
Vegetables
- 6 myoga bulbs
- 1 umeboshi (pickled plum)
Oil
- 1 tsp sesame oil
Seasoning
- 2 tbsp sake
- 2 tbsp miso
- 1 tbsp mirin
- 1 tbsp ground sesame
STEPS
Slice the myoga into thin rounds. Remove the pit from the umeboshi and mash it with a knife.
Heat sesame oil in a frying pan over medium heat and sauté the myoga until softened.
Add the seasoning ingredients (sake, miso, mirin, ground sesame) and mix well. Simmer on low heat for about 3 minutes while stirring to prevent burning.
Add the mashed umeboshi and mix thoroughly.
