INGREDIENTS
Chicken
- 🍗 250g chicken thigh
Vegetables
- 1/2 bunch nira
- 1/3 stalk negi
Seasoning
- đź§‚ Pinch of salt and pepper
- Potato starch as needed
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
Sweet Vinegar Sauce
- 1 tbsp sake
- 🍬 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp vinegar
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 🍅 2 tbsp ketchup
STEPS
Pat the chicken dry with a paper towel and cut into bite-sized pieces. Season both sides with salt and pepper, then coat with potato starch.
Chop the nira and negi into fine pieces.
Mix all the sauce ingredients (sake, sugar, vinegar, soy sauce, ketchup) in a bowl.
Heat sesame oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Place the chicken skin-side down and cook until golden brown. Flip and cook for another 4 minutes until fully cooked.
Add the chopped nira and negi to the pan and stir-fry briefly. Pour the sauce over the chicken and vegetables, and toss to coat evenly.
