INGREDIENTS
Base
- 🧂 1 cup white sugar
- 🧈 ½ cup butter, softened
- 🥚 3 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon lemon extract
- 1 (8 ounce) container sour cream
- 💧 ⅔ cup water
- 1 (15.25 ounce) package yellow cake mix
- 🌾 1 cup all-purpose flour
STEPS
Gather all ingredients.
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 10-inch Bundt pan.
Cream together sugar and butter in a large bowl with an electric mixer until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
Stir in vanilla and lemon extracts.
Beat in sour cream and water.
Beat in cake mix and flour until incorporated. Pour batter into the prepared pan.
Bake in the preheated oven until a toothpick inserted into the center of cake comes out clean, approximately 60 to 80 minutes. Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then turn out onto a wire rack to cool completely.
