INGREDIENTS
Dry Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
- 1 cup quick cooking oats
- 🟤 ¾ cup packed brown sugar
- 🧂 ¼ teaspoon salt
- 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
Wet Ingredients & Mix-ins
- 🧈 ¾ cup melted butter
- 🍫 6 ounces semisweet chocolate chips
- 🌰 ½ cup chopped walnuts
- ¾ cup caramel ice cream topping
STEPS
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x9 inch square pan.
Combine flour, baking soda, oats, brown sugar, salt, and melted butter. Mix until crumbly. Press half the mixture into the pan.
Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 10 minutes. Let cool slightly.
Sprinkle chocolate chips and chopped walnuts over the crust. Mix caramel topping with 3 tablespoons of flour and drizzle over the top.
Top with the remaining oatmeal mixture. Break it into small pieces to cover.
Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 15 minutes. Let cool before cutting into bars.
