INGREDIENTS
Frozen Goods
- 🍟 2 (16 ounce) packages frozen crinkle-cut French fries
Oils & Seasonings
- 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 tablespoons seafood seasoning (such as Old Bay®), or more to taste
- ½ teaspoon seafood seasoning (such as Old Bay®)
Dairy
- 🥛 ¼ cup milk
- 🧀 8 ounces white American cheese (such as Kraft® Deluxe), diced
STEPS
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
Toss French fries and vegetable oil together in a large bowl. Add 2 tablespoons of seafood seasoning and toss to coat. Place on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake in the preheated oven until crispy, approximately 35 to 45 minutes.
While fries are baking, make the cheese sauce: Combine milk and ½ teaspoon of seafood seasoning in a heavy-bottomed saucepan over low heat. Add cheese when milk begins to steam. Stir gently and frequently until the cheese is completely melted.
Serve the fries hot with the cheese sauce on the side for dipping.
