INGREDIENTS

- 🍗 1 piece (200g) chicken thigh
- đź§… 1/2 onion, sliced
- 🥚 3 eggs
- 🍚 2 bowls (400g) cooked white rice
- Chopped green onion, as needed
Seasoning
- 2 tbsp sake
- đź§‚ 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 1/2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp Japanese dashi powder
- đź’§ 100ml water
STEPS
Cut chicken into bite-sized pieces and slice the onion thinly. Beat the eggs in a bowl.
In a small pot, combine the seasoning ingredients (sake, sugar, soy sauce, dashi powder, and water) and bring to a boil. Add chicken and onion, cooking until the chicken is fully cooked. Slowly pour the beaten eggs into the pot, allowing them to cook until semi-set.
Serve the cooked mixture over bowls of rice and garnish with chopped green onions.
