INGREDIENTS
Main
- 🍗 4 bone-in chicken thighs (1200g)
- đź§‚ Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp salad oil
Garnish
- Baby leaf as needed
- 🍅 Cherry tomatoes as needed
Seasoning
- đź§„ 1 tsp grated garlic
- 3 tbsp sake
- 🍬 3 tbsp sugar
- 2 tbsp mirin
- 2 tbsp vinegar
- 🥢 5 tbsp soy sauce
STEPS
Remove excess fat from chicken thighs and pierce the skin with a fork. Rub salt and pepper evenly over the chicken.
Mix all seasoning ingredients in a bowl.
Heat 1 tbsp of salad oil in a pan over medium heat. Place 2 chicken thighs skin-side down and cook until golden brown. Flip and cover with a lid, cooking on low heat for about 8 minutes.
Wipe excess moisture from the pan and add half of the seasoning mixture. Flip the chicken and cook until the sauce thickens. Repeat for the remaining chicken thighs.
Plate the chicken and garnish with baby leaf and cherry tomatoes.
