INGREDIENTS
Bread
- 🍞 2 (1 pound) loaves frozen bread dough, thawed
Sauce and Seasoning
- ½ cup spaghetti sauce
- ½ teaspoon dried oregano
Meat
- 🍖 4 ounces sliced pepperoni sausage
Cheese
- 🧀 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 🧀 ⅓ cup grated Parmesan cheese
STEPS
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
Punch the dough down. On a lightly floured surface, roll each loaf into a 20x8 inch rectangle. Place one rectangle on a greased baking sheet.
Spread spaghetti sauce in an 18x4 inch strip down the center of the dough. Sprinkle with oregano, pepperoni, and mozzarella cheese.
Fold the long sides of dough up towards the filling and set aside.
Cut the second dough rectangle into three strips. Loosely braid the strips and pinch the ends to seal. Place the braid on top of the cheese-filled dough, and pinch to seal.
Sprinkle the braided dough with Parmesan cheese.
Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
