INGREDIENTS
Meat
- 200g thinly sliced pork belly
Seasoning
- đź§‚ A pinch of salt and pepper
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
Vegetables
- 🍠1 sweet potato (350g), sliced
- 2 bell peppers, chopped
Oil
- 1 tbsp salad oil
Sauce
- 1 tbsp sake
- 1 tbsp mirin
- 🍬 1/2 tbsp sugar
- 2 tbsp black vinegar
- đź§‚ 1 tbsp soy sauce
STEPS
Slice the sweet potato into 1cm thick pieces and soak in water. Drain and microwave for 3 minutes at 600W. Cut the bell peppers into bite-sized pieces.
Cut the pork belly into bite-sized pieces, season with salt and pepper, and coat with cornstarch.
Heat salad oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Cook the pork until its color changes, then add sweet potato and bell peppers. Stir-fry until the oil is absorbed.
Add the sauce ingredients (sake, mirin, sugar, black vinegar, soy sauce) and stir-fry until well combined.
