INGREDIENTS
Rice
- 🍚 2 bowls (400g) warm white rice
Meat
- 🥩 12 slices thinly sliced pork belly
Vegetables
- 🥬 1/8 head (150g) shredded cabbage
Seasoning
- 🧂 A pinch of salt and pepper
- 🥫 2 tbsp mayonnaise
Coating
- 🍞 Sufficient amount of breadcrumbs
- 2 tbsp salad oil
Sauce
- 🍬 1/2 tbsp sugar
- 🧂 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 🍅 1 tbsp ketchup
- 🌰 1 tbsp ground white sesame
STEPS
Shred the cabbage into thin slices.
Layer 3 slices of pork belly slightly overlapping, fold them three times, and season both sides with salt and pepper. Spread mayonnaise on the surface.
Coat the pork with breadcrumbs, place on a baking tray, drizzle with salad oil, cover with aluminum foil, and bake in a toaster for about 8 minutes.
Mix all sauce ingredients in a bowl until combined.
Serve warm rice in a bowl, top with shredded cabbage and baked pork, then drizzle with tonkatsu sauce.
