INGREDIENTS
Meat
- 100g thinly sliced pork loin
Vegetables
- 90g sweet potato, sliced into half-moons
- 1 green onion, chopped
Condiments
- 1 tbsp potato starch
- 100cc water
- 1 tbsp sake
- 🍬 1/2 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp chili bean paste
- đź§„ 1/2 tsp garlic paste
STEPS
Cut the pork into bite-sized pieces and coat with potato starch. Mix with the seasonings (sake, sugar, soy sauce, chili bean paste, garlic paste) in a bowl.
Slice the sweet potato into half-moons and soak in water for 5 minutes. Drain well. Chop the green onion into small pieces.
Arrange the sweet potato in a frying pan, place the pork on top without overlapping. Pour water around and cover with a lid. Steam on medium heat until boiling, then reduce to low heat and cook for 7–10 minutes until done.
Transfer the cooked dish to a plate, drain excess liquid, and garnish with chopped green onion.
