INGREDIENTS
Noodles
- 1 frozen udon noodle pack
Meat
- 80g sliced pork
Vegetables
- 200g cut vegetables for stew
Liquid
- 200cc water
Seasoning
- 1/2 tsp Japanese dashi powder
- 1 tbsp miso
- 1 tsp sesame oil
Garnish
- Chopped green onion, as needed
STEPS
Microwave the frozen udon noodle pack according to package instructions and place it in a serving bowl.
Heat sesame oil in a pot over medium heat, add sliced pork, and stir-fry for about 3 minutes until the pork changes color. Add cut vegetables and stir-fry for another 2–3 minutes until coated with oil.
Add water and dashi powder to the pot, bring to a boil, cover, and simmer on low heat for 5 minutes. Stir in miso and heat until it comes to a gentle boil.
Pour the miso soup over the udon noodles and garnish with chopped green onion.
