    • 🥔 2 small potatoes (240g)
    • 🧅 1/4 onion (50g), minced
    • 🧂 1/4 tsp salt
    • Pinch of pepper
    • 1 tbsp potato starch
    • 1/2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • Sauce

    • 1 tbsp sake
    • 🍅 1 tbsp ketchup
    • 1 tbsp tonkatsu sauce
    • 🧈 5g salted butter

Cut potatoes into bite-sized pieces and soak in water for 5 minutes. Drain and microwave with 1 tbsp water for 5 minutes at 600W. Mash with a fork, then mix in salt, pepper, and potato starch.

Mince the onion and microwave for 1 minute 30 seconds at 600W.

Combine mashed potatoes, tuna, and onion. Divide into 4 portions and shape into oval patties.

Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat. Cook patties for 2 minutes on each side until golden brown. Cover and cook on low heat for 2–3 minutes.

In the same pan, add all sauce ingredients except butter. Simmer over medium heat until thickened, then stir in butter.
