INGREDIENTS
Main Ingredients
- 🥔 3 medium-sized potatoes
- đź§€ 1 cup mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup flour
- 🥚 1 egg
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- a small amount of ketchup
Seasonings
- 1 tbsp mayonnaise
- a pinch of parsley
- đź§‚ a pinch of salt
- a pinch of pepper
STEPS
Prepare all the ingredients.
Wash the potatoes thoroughly, cut them in half, and steam them for about 30 minutes.
Peel the steamed potatoes while hot, mash them in a bowl, and mix in the seasonings (salt, pepper, mayonnaise, parsley).
Take a small portion of the potato mixture (about 4 cm in diameter), place mozzarella cheese in the center, and shape it into a ball.
Coat the potato balls in flour, then dip them in beaten egg, and finally roll them in breadcrumbs.
Heat oil in a pot to 170°C (340°F) and deep-fry the potato balls, rolling them occasionally, until golden brown.
Serve the potato cheese balls on a plate with ketchup on the side.
