INGREDIENTS
Main
- 🎃 1/4 pumpkin, seeds and pulp removed
- 🍬 2 tbsp sugar
- 🌰 Pinch of black sesame seeds
- 1 tsp salad oil
Batter
- 🌾 1 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 💧 2 tbsp water
STEPS
Cut the pumpkin into bite-sized pieces and peel the skin. Place in a microwave-safe container, cover loosely with plastic wrap, and microwave at 600W for about 6 minutes until soft.
Add sugar to the softened pumpkin and mash until smooth.
Place the mashed pumpkin on plastic wrap, shape it into a square, sprinkle black sesame seeds on top, and cut into bite-sized pieces.
Heat a frying pan on low heat with salad oil spread thinly using a paper towel. Dip each side of the pumpkin squares into the flour-water mixture and fry until slightly browned on each side.
