INGREDIENTS

- ¼ cup margarine

- 1 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- ¼ teaspoon baking powder

- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoon ground cloves

- ½ cup chopped walnuts
STEPS
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x5x3 inch loaf pan.
In a mixing bowl, cream together softened cream cheese, margarine, and sugar until well combined. Beat in eggs one at a time until blended. Mix in canned pumpkin.
In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and cloves. Add chopped walnuts. Stir to ensure everything is thoroughly mixed.
Pour the dry mixture over the wet batter and stir just enough to moisten. Pour the batter into the greased loaf pan.
Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 60-70 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a rack to cool completely.
