INGREDIENTS
Meat
- 150g sliced pork
Vegetables
- 🎃 1/4 pumpkin, seeds removed (300g)
- 🧅 1/2 onion
- 🥕 1/2 carrot
Oil
- 1/2 tbsp salad oil
Seasoning
- 1 tbsp sake
- 1 tbsp mirin
- 🍬 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp Japanese dashi powder
- 💧 150ml water
Garnish
- 🧅 Chopped green onion, as needed
STEPS
Cut pumpkin, onion, and carrot into bite-sized pieces.
Heat salad oil in a pot over medium heat, add pork, and stir-fry until the meat changes color. Add onion, carrot, and pumpkin, and stir-fry until coated with oil.
Add all seasoning ingredients (☆), mix well, and bring to a boil. Remove scum, cover, and simmer on low heat for about 10 minutes until tender.
Serve in a dish and sprinkle with chopped green onion.
