INGREDIENTS
Meat
- 90g ground meat mix
Egg
- 🥚 6 boiled quail eggs
Vegetable
- đź§… 1/4 onion, minced
Seasoning
- đź§‚ Pinch of salt and pepper
- Pinch of grated ginger
Binder
- 1 tbsp breadcrumbs
- 🥚 1/4 beaten egg
Coating
- Adequate amount of flour
Oil
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
Sauce
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp sake
- 1 tbsp mirin
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
STEPS
Mix ground meat with salt and pepper in a bowl. Add minced onion, breadcrumbs, beaten egg, and grated ginger. Knead until sticky to form the meat mixture.
Take 1/6 of the meat mixture and wrap it around a boiled quail egg. Shape into a ball. Repeat for all 6 quail eggs. Coat each ball with flour.
Heat sesame oil in a pan over medium heat. Place the meatballs in the pan and cook, turning occasionally, until browned and cooked through.
Add soy sauce, sake, mirin, and oyster sauce to the pan. Simmer and coat the meatballs with the sauce.
