INGREDIENTS
Base
- 🧈 ½ cup butter, softened
- 🍚 ½ cup white sugar
- 🥚 1 egg
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 ½ teaspoons baking powder
- 🧂 ¼ teaspoon salt
- 🥛 ¾ cup nonfat plain yogurt
Fruit
- 🍓 1 pint fresh strawberries
- 🍇 1 pint fresh raspberries
Topping
- 🍚 ½ cup white sugar
- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- ¾ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 🧈 ½ cup butter
STEPS
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease an 11x7-inch glass baking dish.
Cream ½ cup butter with ½ cup white sugar until light. Beat in the egg.
Add baking powder and salt. Stir in 2 cups of flour, one cup at a time, alternating with nonfat yogurt.
Spread batter into the prepared dish. Arrange strawberries and raspberries on top.
Prepare topping: Mix ½ cup sugar, ½ cup flour, ½ cup butter, and ground cinnamon until coarse crumbs form.
Sprinkle topping over fruit. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until puffed and golden.
Let cake cool before serving. Serve directly from the dish or cut into squares for a platter presentation.
