INGREDIENTS
Main Ingredients
- 🐟 200g salmon fillets (2 pieces)
- 🍄 1 pack shimeji mushrooms
Seasonings
- 🧈 10g salted butter
- sufficient amount of cooking oil
- sufficient amount of coarse black pepper
- sufficient amount of wasabi
Sauce Mix
- 1 tbsp sake
- 1 tbsp mirin
- 🍬 1 tbsp sugar
- 🧂 1 tbsp soy sauce
STEPS
In a bowl, mix the sauce ingredients (sake, mirin, sugar, soy sauce).
Cut the salmon fillets into three equal pieces.
Heat oil in a frying pan and place the salmon skin-side down. Cook over medium heat.
Flip the salmon, add shimeji mushrooms, and cook for about 2 minutes.
Add the sauce mixture and reduce the heat to low.
Add butter, cover with a lid, and steam-cook for a few minutes.
Turn the heat to medium and coat the salmon and mushrooms with the sauce.
Plate the dish, sprinkle coarse black pepper, and top with wasabi.
