INGREDIENTS
Burger Patties
- 🐟 2 pounds salmon, finely diced
- 🧅 1 small yellow onion, finely diced
- 1 green bell pepper, finely diced
- ¾ cup panko bread crumbs
- 🥚 1 large egg, beaten
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 🍋 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 🧂 ½ teaspoon salt
Lemon Basil Mayo
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- ½ teaspoon lemon pepper
- 🍋 1 teaspoon lemon juice
STEPS
Combine salmon, onion, bell pepper, bread crumbs, beaten egg, 3 minced garlic cloves, soy sauce, 1 teaspoon lemon juice, and salt in a large bowl. Mix until evenly combined. Shape into 8 equal patties.
Heat a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Cook salmon patties until golden brown, 4 to 6 minutes per side.
In a medium bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, remaining 2 minced garlic cloves, remaining 1 teaspoon lemon juice, dried basil, Dijon mustard, and lemon pepper.
Serve patties on hamburger buns with the lemon basil mayo and your preferred garnishes such as lettuce, tomato, or onion.
