INGREDIENTS
Main
- 🐟 200g salmon fillets
- 🥬 200g cabbage
- 🧅 100g onion
- 🥔 100g potato
- 🧂 Pinch of salt and pepper
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
Sauce
- 🍬 1/2 tsp sugar
- 2 tbsp mirin
- 1 tbsp sake
- 2 tbsp miso
STEPS
Cut the cabbage into bite-sized pieces, slice the onion into wedges, and thinly slice the potato after halving it. Soak the potato slices in water and drain.
Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper.
Mix the sauce ingredients (sugar, mirin, sake, miso) in a bowl.
Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Place the salmon skin-side down and cook until browned. Flip and cook the other side until browned, then remove from the pan.
Add the cabbage, onion, and potato to the pan and stir-fry until softened. Place the salmon on top of the vegetables, pour the sauce over, cover with a lid, and steam on low heat for about 4 minutes.
