INGREDIENTS
Base
- 4 ounces saltine crackers
Toffee mixture
- 🧈 1 cup butter
- 🟤 1 cup dark brown sugar
Topping
- 🍫 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
- 🌰 ¾ cup chopped pecans
STEPS
Gather all ingredients, and preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
Line a rimmed baking sheet with saltine crackers in a single layer.
Combine butter and sugar in a saucepan. Bring to a boil; boil for 3 minutes.
Immediately pour the toffee mixture over the saltines and spread to cover crackers completely. Bake in the preheated oven for 5 to 6 minutes.
Remove from the oven and sprinkle chocolate chips over the top. Let sit for 5 minutes.
Spread softened chocolate evenly. Sprinkle with pecans. Allow to cool completely, about 25 minutes.
Break toffee into pieces. Enjoy!
