  • Fish

    • 🐟 1 cleaned Pacific saury
  • Vegetables

    • 1 piece of ginger, julienned
    • 🧅 Chopped green onion, a small amount

    • 1/2 tsp salad oil
  • Liquid Seasoning

    • 💧 350 ml water
    • 1 tbsp sake
    • 🧂 1 tbsp soy sauce

Cut the Pacific saury in half and make two diagonal cuts on each side. Sprinkle both sides with salt.

Heat a frying pan with salad oil spread thinly using a paper towel. Cook the Pacific saury on medium heat until both sides are golden brown.

In a clay pot, mix the soaked rice with water, sake, and soy sauce. Flatten the rice evenly.

Place the Pacific saury and julienned ginger on top of the rice. Cover the pot and heat on high until boiling, then reduce to low heat and cook for 10 minutes. Turn off the heat and let it steam for 10 minutes.
