INGREDIENTS
Fish
- 2 cleaned sanma fish
Tofu
- 150g firm tofu
Vegetables
- đź§„ 1 clove garlic
- 1 piece ginger
- đź§… 1/2 stalk green onion
- 2 shiso leaves
- 1/6 daikon radish
Oil
- 2 tbsp salad oil
Liquid
- 2 tbsp water
- soy sauce to taste
Seasoning
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp sake
- đź§‚ 1/3 tsp salt
STEPS
Open the sanma fish and scrape the meat with a spoon. Chop finely with a knife.
Mince garlic, ginger, and green onion. Remove stems from shiso leaves. Grate the daikon radish.
Wrap firm tofu in kitchen paper and let it sit for 5 minutes to remove excess moisture.
In a bowl, combine the sanma, chopped vegetables, and crumbled tofu. Add the seasonings and mix well until sticky. Shape into two oval patties.
Heat salad oil in a frying pan over high heat. Add the patties and cook until browned. Flip, add water, cover, and steam over medium heat for 5 minutes. Serve with shiso leaves, grated daikon, and soy sauce.
