INGREDIENTS
Main Ingredients
- 2 slices ham
- 300g satoimo (Japanese taro)
- đź§‚ 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp vinegar
Seasonings
- 3 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 tsp aonori (green seaweed powder)

STEPS
Peel the satoimo and cut into bite-sized pieces. Rub with salt (not listed in ingredients) to remove sliminess, rinse with water, and drain.
Cut the ham into 1.5cm squares.
Place the satoimo and 1 tbsp water (not listed in ingredients) in a microwave-safe container, cover loosely with plastic wrap, and microwave at 600W for about 5 minutes until a skewer easily pierces through. Drain excess water.
Mash the satoimo while still hot, then mix in the salt and vinegar.
Add the ham and seasonings (mayonnaise, aonori, salt, and pepper), then mix well.
