INGREDIENTS
Protein
- 🍗 250g chicken thigh
Vegetables
- 6 pods broad beans
- 🧅 70g green onion
Seasoning
- 🧂 Pinch of salt and pepper
- 🧈 10g salted butter
- 1 tbsp sake
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
STEPS
Remove broad beans from pods and make a small cut on the skin. Slice green onion into 2cm pieces.
Place broad beans in a microwave-safe container, add 1 tbsp water, cover loosely with plastic wrap, and microwave at 600W for 1 minute. Let cool, drain, and peel the skin.
Cut chicken into bite-sized pieces and season with salt and pepper.
Heat butter in a frying pan over medium heat. Place chicken skin-side down and cook until browned. Flip chicken, push to the side, add green onion, cover, and cook on low heat for 4 minutes until chicken is cooked and onion softens.
Add broad beans to the pan and stir to coat with oil. Add sake and soy sauce, then stir-fry briefly to combine flavors.
