STEPS
Cut the scallops in half horizontally.
Heat a pan with a thin layer of butter. Place 1/8 of the Parmesan cheese in small circles on the pan, then place scallops on top. Press gently with a spatula and cook on low heat until golden brown.
Flip the scallops and cook until fully done. Plate and sprinkle with dried parsley.
