Cut the sweet potato into 1cm slices, then halve or quarter them depending on size. Soak in water briefly and drain. Place the sweet potato in a bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and microwave at 600W for about 4 minutes until soft. Drain the water. Cut the garlic in half lengthwise, remove the core, and crush with the flat side of a knife.

Pat the shrimp dry. Cut the boiled octopus into bite-sized pieces.

In a pot, add olive oil, garlic, chili slices, and salt. Heat over low heat until fragrant. Add the shrimp and octopus, cooking over medium heat until the shrimp changes color. Once bubbling, add the sweet potato and stir briefly to combine.
