INGREDIENTS
Pasta / Noodles
- 🍝 70g macaroni
Mixed Seafood
- 🦐 200g frozen seafood mix
Vegetables
- 🧅 1/2 onion, sliced
Oil
- 2 tsp olive oil
Toppings
- 🍞 2 tbsp breadcrumbs
- 🧀 1 tbsp grated cheese
White Sauce
- 🧈 30g salted butter
- 🌾 3 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 🥛 400ml milk
- 🧂 1/3 tsp salt
- Pinch of pepper
- 1/2 tsp consomme powder
STEPS
Slice the onion thinly and defrost the seafood mix.
Boil water in a pot, cook the macaroni as per package instructions, and drain.
Heat olive oil in a pan, sauté the onion over medium heat until soft, add the seafood mix and cook until it changes color, then set aside.
Wipe the pan clean, melt butter over low heat, add flour and stir until smooth. Gradually add milk, stirring constantly, then add salt, pepper, and consomme powder. Cook until thickened.
Combine the sauce with the sautéed seafood and macaroni, mix well.
Transfer the mixture to a heatproof dish, sprinkle breadcrumbs and grated cheese on top, and bake in a toaster oven for about 4 minutes until golden brown.
