INGREDIENTS
Vegetables
- 🍅 3 pounds plum tomatoes
- 🧅 1 small sweet onion
- 🧄 8 large garlic cloves
Oil and Seasoning
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 🧂 1 1/2 teaspoons kosher salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/8 teaspoon crushed red pepper
Dairy and Sweeteners
- 1/4 cup heavy whipping cream
- 2 teaspoons light brown sugar

- 1/4 cup basil leaves
STEPS
Gather all ingredients.
Preheat oven to 450°F (230°C). Toss tomatoes, onion, garlic, olive oil, salt, black pepper, and crushed red pepper on a large rimmed baking sheet until evenly coated.
Roast vegetables in the preheated oven until juices are released and vegetables are soft and slightly charred, about 35 minutes.
