INGREDIENTS
Mushroom
- 🍄 8 shiitake mushrooms
Seasoning
- 2 tbsp sake
- 2 tbsp mirin
- đź§‚ 2 tbsp sugar
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp dashi powder
- đź’§ 50 ml water
Garnish
- To taste white sesame seeds
STEPS
Trim the stems of the shiitake mushrooms and slice them thinly.
Add all seasoning ingredients (sake, mirin, sugar, soy sauce, dashi powder, and water) into a pot.
Bring the mixture to a boil, then add the sliced shiitake mushrooms. Simmer on low heat for about 10 minutes until the liquid reduces.
Sprinkle white sesame seeds on top and serve.
