INGREDIENTS
Main Ingredients
- 30g dried shirasu
- 🌱 100g bean sprouts
- 50g chives
- 2 tsp sesame oil
Batter
- 🥚 1 egg
- 3 tbsp okara powder
- 3 tbsp potato starch
- đź§‚ a pinch of salt
- đź’§ 5 tbsp water
Dipping Sauce
- 1 tbsp vinegar
- đź§‚ 1 tbsp soy sauce
- a pinch of shichimi togarashi
STEPS
Wash the bean sprouts and chives. Cut the chives into 3-4 cm lengths.
In a bowl, mix the egg, okara powder, potato starch, salt, and water to create the batter.
Add the bean sprouts, chives, and dried shirasu to the batter and mix well.
Heat sesame oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Pour the mixture into the pan and spread it evenly.
Cook for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.
In a small bowl, mix vinegar, soy sauce, and shichimi togarashi to prepare the dipping sauce.
Serve the pancake hot with the dipping sauce on the side.
