INGREDIENTS
Seafood
- 🦐 150g peeled shrimp
Meat
- 🍗 100g ground chicken (thigh)
Vegetables
- 🧅 10cm green onion, minced

- 20 dumpling wrappers

- 1 tbsp salad oil
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
Seasonings
- 1 tbsp sake
- 🧂 1/4 tsp salt
- 🍅 2 tbsp ketchup
- 1/2 tsp doubanjiang
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1/2 tsp grated ginger
- 🧄 1/2 tsp grated garlic
STEPS
Pat the peeled shrimp dry with a paper towel and chop coarsely.
Mince the green onion finely.
In a plastic bag, combine shrimp, ground chicken, green onion, and all seasonings. Knead the mixture through the bag until sticky. Cut off one corner of the bag.
Pipe the filling onto dumpling wrappers. Wet the edges with water and pinch three points together to form a triangle. Repeat for all 20 dumplings.
Heat salad oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Place dumplings in the pan and cook until the bottoms are golden brown. Add 3 tbsp of water, cover, and steam over low heat for 4 minutes.
Remove the lid and drizzle sesame oil around the edges of the pan. Cook over medium-high heat until the bottoms are crispy, then remove from the pan.
