    • 🍚 2 bowls (400g) of cooked rice
  • Seafood

    • 🦐 80g peeled shrimp
  • Condiments

    • Seaweed sheets, as needed
    • 1 tsp salad oil
    • 🧂 A pinch of salt
    • 1 tbsp cornstarch
    • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
    • 1 tsp ketchup
    • 🍬 A pinch of sugar
    • A pinch of salt and pepper

Remove the shrimp's vein, rinse with water, pat dry, and cut into 1cm pieces. Place in a bowl and mix with salt and cornstarch.

Heat salad oil in a frying pan over medium heat, add the shrimp mixture, and cook until the shrimp changes color. Turn off the heat, add mayonnaise, ketchup, sugar, and salt and pepper, then mix and let cool.

Place 1/4 of the rice on a piece of plastic wrap, add 1/4 of the shrimp mixture, and wrap into a ball. Cover with seaweed. Repeat to make 4 onigiri.
