INGREDIENTS
Basic Ingredients
- š§ 1/2 bunch green onion
- š§ 1/2 onion, diced
- 1/2 zucchini, quartered
- 3 green chilies, diced
- š§ 1 tbsp sliced garlic
- 3 shiitake mushrooms, sliced
- š¤ Shrimp, as desired
Seasoning Ingredients
- š§ 1 piece butter
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp corn syrup
Additional Ingredients
- š„ Fried egg, optional
- Mayonnaise, optional
STEPS
Prepare all ingredients by slicing green onion, dicing onion, quartering zucchini, and slicing green chilies and garlic.
Slice shiitake mushrooms and prepare shrimp as desired.
Heat a pan on low heat and melt 1 piece of butter.
Add green onion and garlic to the pan and sautƩ until fragrant.
Add diced onion and continue sautƩing until translucent.
Add zucchini and green chilies, and sautƩ until softened.
Add mushrooms and shrimp, and cook until shrimp turns pink.
Add cooked rice to the pan and stir-fry, breaking up clumps.
Push rice to one side of the pan and add 1 tbsp soy sauce to the empty side. Let it caramelize slightly.
Mix the soy sauce into the rice and stir-fry evenly.
Add 1 tbsp oyster sauce and 1 tbsp corn syrup, and stir-fry until well combined.
Serve with a fried egg and drizzle mayonnaise on top, if desired.
