INGREDIENTS
Fish
- 🐟 2 fillets of mackerel (160g)
Vegetables
- 🥒 8cm (200g) daikon, grated
- 🧅 2 stalks of green onion, chopped
Seasoning
- 🧂 A pinch of salt
- 2 tbsp sake
- 2 tbsp ponzu sauce
STEPS
Sprinkle salt on both sides of the mackerel fillets and let sit for 5 minutes. Pat dry with paper towels and make small cuts on the skin.
Grate the daikon and lightly squeeze out excess water. Chop the green onions into small pieces.
Bring water to a boil in a frying pan, then reduce to low heat. Add sake and the mackerel fillets. Simmer gently for 5 minutes without boiling.
Plate the mackerel, garnish with grated daikon, drizzle ponzu sauce, and sprinkle chopped green onions.
